PBR’s new, enhanced online coverage draws rave reviews

New York, NY (October 12, 2009) - It’s live, in your face and on your computer.

This past weekend, www.pbrnow.com debuted its live event scoring page, along with live blogging and event related Podcasts.

Fans can log onto the event page, then select the “event center” tab on the left-hand column. This will give them four tabs to choose from: live scoring, live commentary, behind the chutes (a collection of event related Podcasts), and draw/results.

Early feedback from fans across country has been positive.

“I like that live event score tracker that you just did this evening,” wrote one fan. “Awesome … great job. As you all know that there are some of us that don't have Versus channel, and this live tracking is a big plus.”

Thanks largely to assistance from Dish Network, live stats will also be available next weekend when the BFTS concludes in Uncasville, Conn., and continue through the entire PBR World Finals.

Fans can follow all the stats in real time, and enjoy a live blog recapping each flight during every round of the event.

The event center page comes as the latest advancement to the PBR’s online brand, and follows the growing success of www.pbr.tv, which features video highlights, a weekly recap show, Podcasts and the replay of the new PBR Now news magazine show on RFD TV.

Back in August, www.pbr.tv also featured Ross Coleman’s Challenger event in Molalla, Ore.

“I would like to tell you how I appreciate the PBR.TV that you now have on your site,” wrote fan Bernadette Davis, “I have really missed watching the PBR every weekend since it was taken off DirecTV. I also enjoy the PBR NOW on RFDTV. Thank you for thinking of the fans.”
