Scaredy Cat, Evil Forces lead the pack in Round 1

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (October 16, 2009) - Who's got the edge in round at the Mohegan Sun? Not Lostroh, Marchi, or Mauney - the world's top ranked riders going into the last event of the season.

All three of the world leaders drew in the middle of the pack, and probably don't have enough bull power under them for a round win. Lostroh is on Jeff Robinson's Hillbilly, while Marchi and Mauney both drew McNeil & Weeks bulls: Marchi on Wrong Face and Mauney on River City Dreams. Look for all three to make the whistle, though, and be poised to make a move in the next round.

Three other riders came out very well in the draw, and all three have Dakota Rodeo bulls. Ednei Caminhas on  Scaredy Cat - always a good draw; Zack Brown on Evil Forces, one of the PBR's all-time best money bulls; and Travis Briscoe on Walk the Line - a bull who produces high scores consistently, yet has only thrown off one PBR rider this year - at an Enterprise Series event. BFTS riders are 9-for-9 on him this season.

In Round 2's draft, the top riders from Round 1 will get first shot at Currey Creek's Outsider and Black Mamba, Dakota Rodeo's Fully Loaded, and Danny Reagan's Big Rig. Meanwhile, some poor soul with the last pick will be looking at McKee's Bad Timing Bo - a bull who usually lives up to his name.
