PBR and Bass Pro Shops Partner on a Nationwide Event

NEW YORK, N.Y. (October 20, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) and Bass Pro Shops are teaming up at the end of the month to take their corporate partnership one step further.  On October 24-25, Bass Pro Shops across the nation will host a weekend of FREE, fun-filled activities presented by the PBR.  The weekend event will kick off on Saturday, October 24 at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and continue on Sunday, October 25 from 12-4 p.m.  The event is being held in conjunction with the General Public on-sale date for tickets for events on the PBR’s 2010 BFTS schedule. 

Headlining the list of activities will be PBR rider autograph signings on Saturday, October 24 from 1-2:30 p.m.  PBR superstars such as Cord McCoy (Tupelo, Okla.), Bryan Richardson (Dallas, Texas), Sean Willingham (Summerville, Ga.), Tater Porter (Kenansville, Fla.), Colby Yates (Ft. Worth, Texas), and more will be in Bass Pro Shops stores across the country, signing autographs, taking pictures, and hanging out with fans.   

Other activities include a Stick Bull Riding Competition (sponsored by Cooper Tires), a Bull Roping Competition (sponsored by Pike Electric), “Color Your Kickers” (sponsored by Ariat Boots), “Flint” the Entertainer Face Painting (sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car), a “Lil’” Duke Costume Contest (sponsored by Wayne Enterprises), and more.  In addition, Daisy will be sponsoring a contest where fans can enter for a chance to win a Daisy BB Gun.
